Take Our Summer Reading Challenge

June 2 — August 2
Make the most of your summer and sign up for one of our summer reading challenges. Adults, teens, and children are encouraged to enjoy reading and earn some great prizes along the way — including a chance to receive our special commemorative tote bag.
Stop by the Adult and Youth Services Reference Desks or jump on the Bookmobile to join the party and get started.

Partnering with the Community

June 2 — August 2
This summer your Tinley Park Library card becomes even more valuable!
With the generous support of many area businesses, we are now able to add a new and exciting component to your summer reading experience. When you sign up for one of our summer reading challenges between June 2 and August 2, you may take your validated library card to any of our participating area business partners and receive a special offer or discount.

Multi-library Geocache Treasure Hunt

June 2 — August 16
Do you love a challenge? How about finding places on a map in search of a treasure? Then join our Multi-library Geocaching Event! Geocaching is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS. The adventure runs from June 2 through August 16. Stop by the Adult Reference Desk on or after June 2 to get your playing card and instructions. Ages 5 and up are welcome to participate in this event.
