If you're having a difficult time getting used to the changes with Apple's latest iOS update, the library can help. Sign-up for our Atomic Training database, which offers self-paced streaming videos to learn hundreds of different technologies, including iOS 8. This is Glenn Kersten, a 13 year employee of our library, and 8/29 was his last day before retirement. Glenn has been an anchor of kindness, patience, & expertise in our Reference Dept., & he will be missed! Have you heard the news? Russian hackers have stolen 1.2 Billion passwords from various agencies, and you might be affected. An article from Forbes magazine shines some skeptical light on this news, but even if the situation is not as dire as reported, it's always a good idea to change your most important passwords on a regular basis, and to use strong passwords that cannot be easily guessed.
David Levithan, who co-authored the 2010 young adult novel Will Grayson, Will Grayson with John Green, is in the process of writing a “musical-novel spinoff,” to be released in Spring 2015. This news, of course, begs the question, “What exactly is a musical-novel?”
