Teen Collaborative Art Project

Grades 6-12: Calling all teen artists! Collaborate on a 3D painting project for the Benches on the Avenue installation in downtown Tinley Park. Signup required.

This year, the library is contributing to the annual Benches on the Avenue installation in downtown Tinley Park.  We are asking teen artists in grades 6-12 to help us paint our Woodland Reading Adventure bench.  By signing up for this event, you are committing to two six-hour Saturday painting sessions in the library's large meeting room.

All supplies will be provided, including pizza and pop on both days for lunch.  Although we will provide aprons for you to use, we highly recommend that you wear clothing which you don't mind getting stained with paint.

For the safety of our community, masks are encouraged.
